Role synopsis:

• Global Operations and Infrastructure (GOI) designs, builds and operates BP’s core IT&S services. It is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the technology people rely on every day to do their job such as computers, telephones, email, wireless, conferencing; helpdesk support for end-users of services; and the design, build and operation of BP’s IT&S infrastructure and systems, such as data centers and networks.
• GOI Service Integration Asia Pacific provides services & support to all businesses located in 15 countries namely Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Sakhalin, Australia and New Zealand.
• The purpose of this job is to provide application & project support implementation for Upstream in Indonesia. The role is focused on assisting application project management processes to function efficiently and effectively. The analyst is expected to have reporting line into the Services Manager, but will also have a dotted line reporting into the IT&S Project Manager.

Essential Education:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional qualifications

Essential experience and job requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in application & project support or development.
• Knowledgeable in Subsurface Data Management concept and technology.
• Good understanding of Exploration & Production in Oil and Gas Business
• Good communications skills in English verbally and in written
• Excellent teamwork, influencing, networking & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels and across organisation boundaries
• Good attention to detail, delivery focused, willing to challenge and be challenged, motivating, positive, energetic, helpful
• External certification in ITIL-based Service Management – Foundation

Desirable criteria & qualifications:

• Project management experience and certification (e.g. PMP)
• Familiar with emerging IT technologies & infrastructure, and data/systems integration.
• Familiar with BP’s CVP, Project Engagement Process and Project Management Methodology
• Knowledge on procurement (tender & contractual) process and methodology, preferably on PTK07
• Knowledge on various subsurface data & seismic
• Previous exposure to Oil and Gas industry
