SNR Project Development Engineer
Purpose of the Job
- Provide professional advice, expertise & practical assistance Project Director in the review & preparation of SOW, Including developing the most suitable contracting strategy & Verification of completeness and accuracy of the information supplied by the counter-parties
- Provide support to Project Director in contracts management
- Monitor multi contracts and track expenditure against approved budget also monitor project schedule and plans
- Ensure full compliance to the company’s policy and procedures
- Act as custodian and focal point for all contact related issues
- Prepare and manage various contracts documents including GTC, tendering, contract awarding
- Coordinate with other offices’ Legal. Finance, on contract matters
- Reviewing/preparing the SOW elements in Tender for FEED and EPC
- Evaluating/Assessing submissions of the Contractors and sub contractor for accuracy & conformance to standards
- Review and report variance of contract deliverables versus actual
- Post contract administration of contacts including, monitoring and verifying all non-conformities raised and Assist project director In taking effective corrective actions for their closure, including claims settlements
- Participate in Management Review Meetings
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 15 years relevant experience, experience in major oil and gas projects in similar role. Experience in SAP applications
- Experience in contract formation activities, systems & processes coupled with a working knowledge of engineering fabrication & construction practice
- Chinese speaking is a must plus strong in English communications
