Through internship as Teller, you will be equipped with the skill to process regular banking transactions like money deposit and withdrawal, to check banknotes authenticity, to understand the principle in characterizing customers, and other exciting experiences as a teller

This is opportunity for you, S1 and S2 graduates, to prepare yourselves for professional career in the banking business.

In one-year training and internship, you will be equipped with knowledge and skills in the field of banking and other knowledge which are essential for you to become professionals. Participants who successfully undergo the one-year training will be offered challenging career path in both branch and Head Office.

What will be learned:

BDP as professional training and development programs that will equip the participants with a balance dose of both soft skills and hard skills.

1. Soft Skills (Self Development) : Determining the success of a person believed by the character and attitude, in addition to the participans of the introduction of BDP is furnished on BCA, the participants are mentally prepared to enter the professional world.
2. Hard Skills (Knowledge and Technical Skills in Banking) These are divided into:

• Basic banking Learning the essential basic knowledge a bank employee should know and experience direct interaction with customers.
• Specific skills Learning the work-related knowledge an employee should know in relation to work to be done during placement.
• On-the-job training (internship) Learning things related to the job by hands-on.

Learning Method:

• In-class training : BDP participants will receive training about banking in classes taught by instructors who are experts in banking.
• Observation : BDP participants will observe the operational and credit flow and marketing at the BCA branches and the domestic and international operation centre in the Headquarters.
• Mentoring : In order for BDP participants to better understand banking and its work culture, they will be attached to qualified mentors who will guide them during the trainings.
• Tests and reviews : Tests and reviews will be held periodically in both written or oral (presentation) to evaluate participants' understanding of banking.
• On-the-job training (internship) : In order to better understand jobs in banking business, BDP participants will be given the opportunity to do on-the-job training (internship) in the work unit associated with their later placement, so that they are ready to work at the time of placement.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA 3.00 (of 4) for S1 and minimum GPA 3.25 (of 4) for S2
• Able to communicate systematically
• Good analytical capability
• Highly motivated
• Free from illegal drugs
• Maximum age 25 years-old (for S1) and 27 years-old (for S2)
• Unmarried and willing to stay unmarried during the training
• Willing to be placed in all areas in Indonesia
• Willing to be attached to the Company Bond after completion of training

BDP program consisted of 3 focus, namely:

1. System procedure
2. Business
3. Business Development

Participants BDP with a focus on system procedures, will be given the knowledge of the material on banking oprerasional in more depth. With an understanding of operational, then the BDP graduates can become head of a career (supervisor) in the field of operations, standards and operating (SOP) developers, auditors.

Participants BDP with a focus on business, will be provided materials relating to the concepts and methods of implementation of the banking business. BDP graduates can be a career as an Account Officer, Credit Analist, Relationship Officer in various work units such as Consumer Banking, International Banking, Corporate Banking and many others.

BDP participants focused business development, will be equipped with the material - the material in accordance with which it handled the job. BDP graduates can be a career in business development, consumer credit, human resources, training centers, logistics and various other fields.

BCA Accounting Education Program

What is BCA Accounting Education Program?

BCA Accounting Education Program (PPA BCA) is an undergraduate-equivalent non-degree program run by BCA as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

PPA BCA is specially designed to give opportunity for the best high-school graduates and vocational secondary school in order to develop their knowledge and skil in accounting.

since its beginning in 1996 until December 2008, this program has been running 21 classes with a total of 707 students and delivering 387 graduates, 372 among which have been accepted to work at BCA.

Education Period and Learning Time

Classes are delivered by lecturers from wellknown universities and conducted at the BCA Education and Training Center for 30 months, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The 30-month learning period is divided to 6 trimester (Cawu).

To ensure the highest quality of our graduates, during the program there are performance evaluations to be conducted every trimester. The results will be counting toward the Cummulative Performance Index (Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif/IPK). Those with IPK score lower than 2.75 will not be able to continue the education program.

What is learned in PPA-BCA?

Learning activities are not limited to classroom as students are given the chance to have hands-on internship experience at BCA brances as well as BCA head office's working units.
The education materials given in PPA BCA are broadly the same as the materials taught in other Accounting undergraduate programs and are furthermore enriched with some personal development knowledge.

Facilities provided

As a part of BCA's CSR program, the participants are to enjoy free-of-charge education. On top, they will received personal allowance and food allowance, and enjoy various facilites, such as books and medical checkup as regulated in the company policy.
After the participants made it through educational programs during the 30 months they will be bidding for work in the BCA for a company requires labor / employee, with placements for the whole of Indonesia.

The undergraduate-equivalent non-degree Accounting Education Program (PPA) is open to all high-school graduates who meet the following criteria:

REQUIREMENTS

• Indonesian citizen;
• Graduate from high school (SMU)/vocational high school (SMK) male/female or in the final year of SMU/SMK;
• Maximum 20 years of age when entering the program (August);
• Average report score of 7 throughout grade 1 to 3 of high school;
• Minimum score of 7 for mathematics (science stream students (IPA)) or 7 for Economics/Accounting (social stream (IPS) and SMK))
• Never repeat a year;
• Never involved with illegal drugs and other criminal acts;
• Pass the screening process
