Manager

Principal Accountabilities

• Act as part of the Task Force Project Leadership group to effectively manage the project through the pre-FEED and onto FEED stages on behalf of the project stakeholders in particular QPI.
• Effectively manage relationships with Shell and PetroChina to ensure that company interests are represented in the project and concerns or issues are addressed through the project management structure and appropriate actions are taken.
• Provide detailed oversight and review of the project on behalf of company senior management and provide regular progress reporting back, in addition to recommending courses of action or decisions to be made for senior management.
• Ensure that detailed scopes with associated budgets for the pre-FEED and FEED stages are developed for, reviewed by and agreed by company.
• Act as point of contact in China for future business or JV partners and lead the technical evaluation and development of potential projects in downstream and petrochemical opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Chinese nationality or regional expat
• BSc in Engineering discipline
• 20 years plus, which 5 years in senior position, experience of Downstream ventures including project design, development and execution, JV management, operations, commercial and marketing activities.
