Senior Operator

Primary Purpose of the Job:

• Directs and carries out the processing of gas through the remote Gas Distribution Stations to consumers, checks and advises on any faults, oversee the safe change from one gas supply to another and check maintenance work is carried out effectively, as well as implement modification and commission new plants and equipment’s as per QP standards.

Education:

• Completion of Secondary School followed by a further 2 years training to OND standard or equivalent.

Experience & Skills:

• 10 years’ experience in hydrocarbon industry including experience of Central Master Control System, Distribution Control Systems and Supervisory Control and data Acquisition Systems.
• Should be proficient in MS Word and Excel Computer Applications.
