Senior Exploration Geoscientist
As a Senior Exploration Geoscientist, you will be responsible for the assessment of both existing exploration acreage and New Ventures opportunities. You will be working within a multiskilled exploration team, generating new plays, prospects and leads, managing permits, and capturing new business. An essential part of the role is seismic interpretation, and you should be capable of rapidly evaluating 2D and 3D seismic datasets using the latest technologies.
To be successful in this position, you will hold a Tertiary degree in Geoscience coupled with at least 10 years relevant industry experience. You will have a sound knowledge of petroleum geology, especially with exposure to clastic environments. In addition to being technically strong, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, a strong knowledge base of geological concepts and basin evolution is essential.
