Founded on 30 September 1971 by Bp. Drs. Eddie Lembong. The name is taken from the name of the Pharos Lighthouse, located in Alexandria, Egypt, the Gulf region.
Company status Domestic (Domestic Investment) and is the first pharmaceutical company in Indonesia who get certified GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) of BPOM (Agency for Food and Drug Administration).
Backed by more than 2000 human resources, which are mostly composed of personnel of young dynamic and energetic. Integrated computer system for the entire division and branch offices, Teleconferencing, VOIP, Internet, Computerized Product Knowledge Training, as well as the library with a variety of literature.
