Senior Standards Engineer (Shell)

Primary Purpose of the Job:

• To operate and maintain DT Technical Standards System (TSS), application and management of Shell Design and Engineering Practices (DEPs), and development, preparation and maintenance of Engineering Standards, Specifications, Guidelines, Philosophies, Datasheets and Standard Drawings for Corporate use in the Design, Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning of QP Facilities in its Onshore and Offshore Operating Areas in Qatar.

Education:

• Graduate Degree in Engineering in Oil and Gas Industry relevant discipline from a recognized University and preferably membership of a recognized professional society.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 15 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry with 5 years in supervisory position. Experience in standardization activities with respect to technical codes and standards is essential.
• Fluent in English oral and written communication.
• Computer literate with familiarization with relevant technical computer software / analysis programs.
