  • Perform non-targeted screening and metabolomics on biological matrices
  • Identify metabolites and quantify macromolecular adducts in biological matrices
  • Work in a team to prepare samples and generate scientific data
  • Maintain, operate and troubleshoot GC- and/or LC-MS/MS instruments and other analytical equipment
  • Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), research protocols and study plans
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BSc or MSc in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent biomedical qualification
  • Three to five years of hands-on experience in bioanalytical method development, validation and sample analysis using GC- and/or LC- mass spectrometric techniques
  • Practical experience in advanced mass-spectrometric techniques using high resolution MS (FT-ICR, Orbitrap), GCxGC-TOF, GC/LC-MS/MS with a primary focus on advanced LC-MS techniques

  • In-depth knowledge of LC-MS techniques and sample preparation is essential

  • Mass-spectrometric software and database management skills

Support our RMX (ready-mix concrete) department based in Holderbank AG, Switzerland, with your expertise as Project Manager.

Your tasks:
  • Lead performance improvement projects in the areas of sales and business development for the Ready Mixed Concrete business
  • Support Holcim's operational companies in market strategy reviews and mergers & acquisitions projects
  • Manage business development projects in Ready Mixed Concrete at international level
  • Train and coach the local teams in building relevant expertise
  • Facilitate and contribute know how transfer within Holcim Group
Your profile:
  • Masters degree or Bachelor degree in business administration / civil engineering
  • 2 - 5 years experience in Ready Mixed Concrete or construction materials / construction industry
  • Experience in Sales and/or Business Development and consulting is an advantage
  • Excellent English language skills (additional languages are a plus)
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving and excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% worldwide

Your tasks:
  • Support Holcim group companies in the field of optimum plant maintenance strategy, systems and processes to reach business targets and improve maintenance performance
  • Develop Holcim Technical Standards and Guidelines in the area of maintenance systems and processes to reach high maintenance efficiency
  • Support Group companies in development of key maintenance personnel
  • Lead implementation and sustainability projects of corporate maintenance management processes, systems (incl. SAP – PM / PS solutions) in group companie
  • Implement, support and coach preventive maintenance processes and routines in group companies
Your profile:
  • Master / Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • More than 3 years experience in a maintenance position in the cement or heavy industry
  • Record in successful project execution/ management in an international environment
  • Good knowledge and experience in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance techniques
  • Expertise in SAP PM usage, specifically in Planning & Scheduling is preferable
  • Fluent English, other language skills in German, Spanish, French are an advantage

  • Review all components of reporting processes, both internal and external reports, to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency and timeliness of reporting
  • Prepare the presentation and ad-hoc analysis for the Executive Committee for actual closing
Your profile:
