Customer Development
Strategy & negotiation
Much of the excitement in Customer Management comes from designing sales strategies, developing face-to-face partnership with distributors and their salesmen, negotiations with retailers, wholesalers and supermarkets, conducting point of sales-promotions for current and new brands, as well as making sure all Unilever products are distributed and available all over Indonesia. To be effective in this field you must have initiative, pro activeness and negotiation skills. You need to be self-confident but approachable, a good communicator with a sense of humor. All disciplines are welcomed to apply.
General Trade
Selling to Traditional Market, where your customers will be retailers, shop-owners in the “Pasar”. This requires quick analytical thinking and leadership in order to identify new opportunities within your assigned territory
Modern Trade
Selling to Modern Trade, such as supermarket, hypermarket. Besides requiring a quick analytical thinking and leadership, a good skill in promotion, space management and negotiation is needed.
Customer Services
here’s the challenge of making all Unilever’s products available and distributed properly at any given time and place all over Indonesia, from the time it leaves the factory through the warehouse until it is finally delivered to the customer in hopefully perfect condition.
