Role synopsis:

This role is the arbitrator on all technical issues in the area of delegated authority and provide advise on equipment maintenance, inspection, test frequencies and techniques for lifting. The incumbent is also expected to be the technical expert in Lifting Operations and communicate with Leadership to ensure risks of current status of Lifting are well understood.

Essential Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Essential experience and job requirements:

• 
  
• Deep Industrial Lifting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Exposure to major project, offshore installation/hook up, land based & offshore drilling activities
• The candidate will have been a member of a Site Leadership team and would have had accountability for the application of the Lifting standards

• High influencing skills
• Comfortable to intervene, escalate in addition to having good collaboration skills
• Actively participate in network to share learning & best practices
• A strong network and team player is essential
