• Provide input for the training schedule to provide the training as required
• Develop Training materials to meet training & development program as set out in the TNA and by HSE Learning Lead
• Deliver HSE training as an instructor in the HSE related training of personnel including new entry as required
• Conduct HSE related competency assessments as required to verify competency as per Job Profile and input assessment data into the CMAS System
• Be aware of Plant activities use inputs to identify deficiencies, weaknesses, or problem areas where additional HSE training may provide a solution,
• Ensure that all HSE training is properly documented and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE training programs, in house instructors and third party HSE training providers and provide feedback as required to drive continuous improvement in the HSE Training Programs.
• Act as document controller in HSE for Training Library to update and revise materials as required ensuring all printed materials used in the programs are current.

Key responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with the Karratha laboratory supervisor, regarding the refurbishment of the Pluto/NWS analytical lab and also the sampling and analysis program that has been designed for Pluto.
• Confirm that the sampling and analysis program covers all requirements and once it is up and running, make sure the data is managed correctly and passed to the various interested parties.

• Monthly KPI reporting on Chemical Applications, status and actions required. Responsible for ensuring actions are flagged to Ops and followed up by TCMS / SAP routines.
• Become familiar with the running and the maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant to provide adequate support to the ETP Operators as required.
• Liaise with Woodside Procurement group to maximise synergies with the rest of Woodside regarding the procurement of the various chemicals for Pluto.
• Liaise with Pluto Production Technologist and Offshore teams regarding sampling requirements during well clean up, system start-up and continuous operation.
• When required work with the Pluto Phase 2, Flow Assurance team to assist in any production chemistry related issues.

Main responsibilities for this role include:

Essential requirements include:

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, preferably post graduate qualifications in the area of Occupational Safety and Health or Environment Science.
• Certified General Safety Expert and/or Chemical Safety Expert.
