Senior Tax Accountant

Main Responsibility:
Analyze, plan and implement tax compliance and planning function in relation to business portfolio by preparing and reviewing the direct tax compliance obligations, providing tax advisory and issue resolutions, conducting tax risk assessment and recommending tax planning for the respective business to ensure proper discharging of the business direct tax obligations and responsibilities.

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA equivalent)
• Having experience in Tax Accountant for minimum 7 years experience
• Excellent knowledge of Indonesian taxation especially in oil & gas industry.
• Having good network with tax authority i.e. Kantor Pajak, Tax Auditor, and other government related institutions.
• Excellent networking in BPMIGAS, Direktorat Jendral Pajak, Departemen Keuangan.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute sourcing activities using the seven step sourcing process and follow the guidelines and frameworks based on SMSO Procurement Plans and Corporate Master Procurement Plan (MPP) to achieve value savings for the company.
2. Undertake the execution of procurement operations for non central categories through synergistic procurement modeling, preparation of bid document package, participate in the tendering, clarification & evaluation of tenders, contract award negotiation in compliance to PETRONAS and SMSO Tendering and Contracting procedures to meet project schedules to avoid project deferment.
3. Conduct market intelligent review/survey by analyzing market price trending and exploring available resources and opportunity subsequently update the contracting and purchasing database system in order to achieve cost saving and identified potential areas for business improvement.
4. Act on urgent & ad-hoc requirements & resolve issues by providing total quality solutions through optimization of available resources, effective planning and coordination works, evaluation and elimination of business risks or exposure and ensuring no compromise to the quality and/or projects schedules to meet the business target and avoid plant down time.
5. Documentation of savings and lessons learnt after every sourcing initiative by utilizing knowledge management tool/data base to enhance knowledge sharing and retention.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree Holder in Economics, Business Discipline or equivalent.
• Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, in Oil & Gas industry.
