As a The company marketer, you’ll create, develop, and present our brands memorably, helping them to stand out in a crowded and competitive marketplace.
Role and responsibility
Your responsibility is to build a brand. It starts from understand the needs of the consumer and spotting product opportunity, lead to briefing technical development, looking at costs and determining the right price, developing and testing the marketing mix, to ensure that the brand maintains its share of a highly competitive market and is profitable.
Since you are in charge of the brand, you will have to be a persuasive communicator, selling ideas not only to consumers but also to your colleagues throughout the business. You will have to reconcile conflicting priorities, agree common objectives make decisions with which they will cooperate fully. This requires people with passion for growth, breakthrough thinking, team leadership and ability to seize the future. Any discipline can apply.
