A rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Package Engineer to work on the Wheatstone Jetty Project. The successful candidate will join the team during the design phase and provide review and support services initially, before mobilising to site for the execution phase and working on a 3+1 FIFO roster at Onslow WA
Projoect Packages Engineer
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Assist Procurement Manager to develop RFQ documentation
- Co-ordination of all technical issues between Fabrication/Engineering and Procurement.
- Establish Technical Requisition for Structural Procurement Packages.
- Review of technical bid documents from Suppliers.
- Verification and approval of Supplier Documents and drawings.
- Handling of Clarifications/Deviations/Non-conformances.
- Inspection of material prior to shipment.
Essential requirements include:
- Degree qualified in Engineering
- Previous experience in large EPC project environment
- Career history in following a project through
- Demonstrated ability to generate a scope of work document with specific emphasis on technical aspects
- Demonstrated track record in on-site delivery of successful outcomes
Excellent interpersonal skills for the successful candidate are paramount, as is the ability to work in a cooperative manner across all levels of the team, both of which are vital for the successful execution and delivery of our Projects.
