With decades of experience in successfully completing a range of projects throughout the world, our workforce is involved on projects including onshore and offshore oil and gas, infrastructure and mining.We require a Fulltime Accounts Payable Officer to provide essential support to our project team. This is a contract position (approx 12 months) as part of the Papua New Guinea LNG Project Finance Team located in our Brisbane office and reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Accounts Clerk
Your key responsibilities may include:
- Updating and maintaining accounts payable records
- Liaising with stakeholders and management regarding invoice related queries
- Accounts Payable administration
As this is a fast paced and challenging position, it is anticipated that a minimum of one to two years in a similar high volume payroll environment is required to gain the necessary skills and experience. Strong attention to detail is essential. Previous experience within the mining and/or resources sector is advantageous. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to meet all of the following criteria as a minimum:
- Minimum 1 years Accounts Payable experience in a high volume environment
- Sound understanding of pay system process
- Proven effective written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team
