An expert within the engine engineering team, you’ll provide design leadership across all our gear drive systems. With each new project you’ll provide direction from initial conceptual layout, specification and integrity calculation through to the quality control of component delivery. To ensure quality end results, you’ll also develop commodity strategies and actively resolve manufacturing and technical issues should they arise. By doing so, you’ll help our engine team achieve their vision – to create class-leading power units which set the standards for fuel efficiency, weight and performance.

Candidate Profile

To succeed, you’ll need to be an innovative thinker with an engine background and a comprehensive knowledge of gear standards and measurement protocol. Deep experience in the design, analysis and development of high-performing gear systems is also essential, as is an understanding of the related manufacturing processes. Perhaps most importantly, you must have the ability to solve complex, cross-function problems using tools such as Six Sigma and 8D.
