Here, you’ll play a crucial role within a growing team of specialist engineers responsible for developing gasoline, diesel and aftertreatment technologies. You’ll make a substantial contribution to our in-house research and technology development work. When it comes to the next generation of gasoline and diesel products – and Jaguar Land Rover’s future success in a changing marketplace – you’ll be instrumental in helping us make a lasting impact.
Across a range of exciting research projects, you’ll work closely with talented internal and external networks to deliver groundbreaking concepts. Making sure our power trains cover all new fuels requirements, you’ll enable us to comply with worldwide legislation, meet the needs of engineers and fulfil customers’ desires. Your responsibilities will cover a broad spectrum of challenges – from monitoring future fuels developments and requirements, through defining new fuels research and developing technology strategies, to identifying partners, initiating and leading projects that will deliver world-class technologies to diverse vehicle programmers.
Candidate Profile
A CAD expert with a degree-level qualification (ideally in electrical engineering), you can articulate a compelling vision of the future for diesel and gasoline biofuels. You have demonstrable expertise in diesel and gasoline fuels and associated technologies, together with relevant research and development experience.Ideally, you’ll have a good working knowledge of product development processes. You’ll certainly be a driven and collaborative individual, with proven experience of managing large teams. With a real enthusiasm for project management, you’re able to motivate partners and colleagues alike to deliver excellent results.
