Padang Karunia Group ("PK Group") was founded in 2002, where the group is owned by Theodore Permadi (Triputra Group) and Garibaldi Thohir (Tri Nugraha Thohir Group). PK group has two parent companies, namely PT Padangbara Success Makmur and PT Bumi Natural Prosperity. Under the two companies, there are many subsidiary companies, namely mining, infrastructure, trade and contractors.
In line with its vision, PK positioned for the development of coal mining and coal infrastructure in Indonesia. Seeing the potential of coal reserves and the ability of human resources in Indonesia, PK developed the coal mines in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and South Sumatra.
Padang Karunia Group currently have more than 100,000 ha total area of mining, in addition to children such as Service Company Mining Contractor Mining, Transportation, Coal Terminal, and Transloader - Floating Crane. Padang gift Group seeks to become one of reliable sources of coal and selected partners who can be trusted by the user of coal in the world.
