This role is all about breaking new ground. You’ll play a central role in the development of the next generation transmission systems for our vehicles – working in a highly focused team to find ever-more innovative ways to deliver new technologies. In everything from transmission hardware and calibration software to electronics and driveline control systems, you’ll drive our quality performance higher than ever before. Looking ahead, you’ll also work with our forward model teams to ensure that a focus on quality is embedded in every stage of the new product creation process.

Candidate Profile

To excel, you’ll need to be a talented and forward-thinking engineer with Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation and a quality-related background. Exceptional problem-solving skills are crucial, along with a real understanding of quality-related tools. Although knowledge of automatic transmission or electronic control systems would prove an asset, it’s not essential. Quality skills are what count in this role, and you won’t have to come from an automotive background.
