Platform Ops Senior Process Specialist

Position Summary
The Platform Operations team at GT Nexus is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining platform-level processes that are critical to the health and scalability of our solution. The scope of the team’s work includes a large number of processes some that are fairly tactical and some that are mission critical.
The Senior Process Specialist will drive the definition and documentation of current and future process states and the metrics to track improvement along the journey from one to the other. They will have a clear focus on metrics, measurement and continuous improvement of these processes.
The Senior Process Specialist should be able to understand and assess pain-points and solutions that will contribute to efficient, streamlined and repeatable to-be state processes. They should have leadership skills to direct and motivate team members (many off shore in our India Operations Office) to deliver targeted processes that provide solid results. This person should be passionate about process improvement, metrics, and be skilled at influencing cross-functional process changes across the enterprise. Some project management skills and experience (~5 years) would be helpful, but the ideal candidate will want / need to roll up their sleeves and dig in to helping define, implement, and staff a team to run these processes.
This position will report directly to the Director, Platform Operations.
Job Requirements
- 10 -12 yrs work experience
- Strong business communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Able to independently identify key contacts, gather current state info, identify metrics, present compelling business cases for to-be state process changes
- Skilled in developing flowcharts using tools such as Visio
- Able to deal with ambiguity and influence cross-functional process changes
- Experience working in transportation / logistics / supply chain preferred
- Experience with GT Nexus (or similar) Solutions and processes preferred
- Able to motivate and grow a team of direct reports
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and keep them all moving
- Able to prioritize issues and present them clearly to management
