
Reporting to the Discipline Manager of Project Management, this position involves supporting the project management and delivery functions across Clough’s many projects.
Senior Project Engineer
Key accountabilities of this position will include:
- Participating in the project planning, execution and final documentation in accordance with Client specifications, company procedures and legislation
- Ensuring deliverables are completed in time and accurately in accordance with Company systems, basis of design and contract
- Ensuring the contractors and vendors meet contractual obligations and deliver the scope of work as required
- Providing the onsite project team with engineering support
- Circulating for squad check, vendor drawings, specifications, data sheets, RFQ’s and TBE’s
- Identifying all material, installation aids and services required to perform the Work
- Preparing Requisitions to procure material and services
- Monitoring and recording the work progress and liaising with the client representative.
- Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, required documentation and presentations
- Responsibility for production of engineering estimates
- Ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or project management highly advantageous
- 5 or more years experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Some experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- The ability to manage contractors and third party consultants
- Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and supporting systems
- Engineering & construction codes and standards
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
