PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia, is a division of Leighton Asia mainly specializing in contract mining, civil engineering and infrastructure, including site preparation, earthworks, roads, bridges, pipelines, buildings and tunnels. Leighton Contractors Indonesia expects to start a project in Batam in May /June 2012. Our scope of work will be to construct a large manufacturing warehouse plus a number of utility buildings, canteen and guard houses. Our work also includes all architectural, civil, structure and M&E work.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction or extraction workers.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in erecting and operating machines to hoist and convey machinery and equipment at construction site
• Specifies location for movement and erection of derricks, hoists, and cranes, using knowledge of various methods of sliding and lifting equipment

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical
• Having 5 years experience in construction industry.
• Experience in heavy lifting of static equipment and erection of structure & piping is a must.
• Relevant diploma holder shall be given preference.
• Having knowledge of crane operations is a must.
• Willing to be located in Batam
