Candidate Profile

As a Subframe Design Engineer, you will oversee the delivery of Subframes for Jaguar or Land Rover platforms, taking ownership of the whole process from concept to production. At times, you will lead other engineers to help meet challenging deadlines. You’ll also define design strategies for new components and systems.

This role is all about achieving engineering targets while hitting or exceeding product milestones. It demands someone with an organised mind, a sound understanding of the job, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, other departments, and suppliers to get results. It demands excellence – just like our customers.

Passionate about our products, you will bring a sound understanding of Subframe design requirements backed up by a degree or equivalent in mechanical or automotive engineering. Your flair for achieving design processes to tight timescales will be matched by the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, managers, and suppliers. Experience of designing castings and pressings would set you out from the crowd.
