Body Engineering is a major department, so you’ll enjoy significant responsibilities. Here, skilled engineers utilise advanced CAD and CAE to design and develop world-class interior and exterior systems, from concept to production. Working closely with the Department Manager, you’ll manage planning, coordination, delivery and reporting for a team that will make use of a wide range of materials and construction techniques. Driving the use of tools and processes, you’ll inspire excellence and make sure your team delivers its commitments against challenging targets.

Candidate Profile

Qualified with a relevant degree, you combine expert technical knowledge with proven experience of leading engineering projects. Passionate about our vehicles, you must demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills. After all, you’ll be expected to work closely with engineering teams in other specialist areas, as well as with Product Strategy and Marketing. Financial planning skills will be essential, as will the ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues. Ideally, you’ll also have a good working knowledge of change control, product definition, and change, commonality and complexity management.
