Drawing upon a background in driveability calibration and an understanding of Hybrid technology, you will be proving the software and calibrating the Hybrid Vehicle Supervisory Control Systems. You will be driving ambitious projects. Ideally, you’ll have experience of proving and calibrating control systems in vehicles. Able to work with engines, vehicle and HiL rigs, chassis rolling road and proving ground, you’ll certainly have the ability to strike the perfect balance between fuel economy, emissions and performance.

You’ll also need MATLAB, Simulink, INCA and dSpace / ControlDesk (and ideally TargetLink) skills, along with the ability to validate software through structured test processes, and to work with the controls area to achieve rapid solutions. As such, it’s very likely that you’ll have an Electrical, Electronic or Engine Development background.
