You’ll be designing functional control systems to sit at the heart of some of the most innovative vehicles in the industry. Automotive and powertrain control experience is vital, supported by solid skills in Simulink - and, ideally, TargetLink and the DOORS requirements management tool. You’ll certainly have proven experience of turning high level requirements into control code, and validating control code, both through the use of software validation tools and in the HiL environment.

Naturally, you’ll be skilled in writing and maintaining requirements for control software for real-time embedded systems. We’ll also expect you to have experience of liaising with suppliers on control and software related issues. As such, it’s likely that you’ll have professional experience in control systems/electronics / software as a minimum.
