Job Description
As a Calibration & Controls Engineer, whether you specialise in the Gasoline or Diesel discipline, you’ll enjoy a pivotal role. Responsible for the Calibration / Control systems of multi-cylinder engines for future Jaguar Land Rover products, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring we deliver the premium quality our customers desire. Working closely with a wide range of teams - from Emissions and Engines, through wider Powertrain specialties, to Vehicle and Programme Management - you’ll be expected to shape, define and deliver Calibration / Controls work streams.Candidate Profile
To be equal to the challenge, you’ll need proven experience of project time lines management, successfully delivering a full EMS calibration or controls project/s to meet worldwide requirements. Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject, you’ll have a working knowledge of vehicle interfaces development between Engine Management System and Vehicle (cruise control, CAN, etc) and / or base engine calibration (ignition, fuelling, VVT, knock, etc). You’ll also need to demonstrate practical understanding of model based calibration techniques, INCA, Matlab and the Microsoft Office suite, and the Bosch engine management system.Our customers expect the best, and so do we, so you’ll be challenged every day.
