This is an opportunity to use your proficiency in ADAMS or Simpack software to ensure delivery of the exceptional quality for which Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are renowned. Developing and using a range of multi-body system (MBS) analysis tools - particularly ADAMS and ADAMS Chassis - you’ll assess axle systems, suspension corner hardpoints and K&C characteristics. And you’ll be instrumental in optimising them, in order to achieve challenging targets.

Working closely with our dedicated Vehicle Dynamics CAE and Development teams, you’ll use common methods and techniques to ensure axle and corner models are fully compatible with their whole vehicle models. You’ll also be expected to collaborate actively on the development of new methods and techniques to enhance CAE capabilities in this key area. Ultimately, you’ll enjoy an important impact by minimising physical prototype requirements.

Candidate Profile

To join us, you’ll need good mathematical skills, backed by a sound understanding of engineering principles. An appropriate degree is essential. You combine an advanced understanding of suspension K&C characteristics with proven experience of using relevant software - preferably in an automotive setting. Ideally, you’ll have a good working knowledge of chassis systems. A demonstrable ability to initiate and deliver process improvements will also be a definite advantage.
