Room Division Manager

Work Location: Lombok

Jobs Description:
SUMMARY :

• Supervise all managers in the Room divisions and develop their management skills to achieve common quality service standards and profitability objectives
• Review quality and consistency regularly in regards to the Room division in search of better customer satisfaction
• Responsible in ensuring consistency in the provision of standards as per policy and procedures to meet all guests requirements and expectations

BUSINESS SOLICITATION :

• Always liaise with Director of Sales in regards to reservations and analyses Room Marketing Worksheet and re-forecasts monthly to ensure Yield Management practices are adhered to
• Liaise regularly with Director of Sales and Marketing Analyst to control room inventory identifying occupancy trends to maximize occupancy and revenue

ADMINISTRATION :

• Prepare rooms budget and payroll forecasts, as well as other necessary reports
• Responsible for controlling room and rate availability and achieving target occupancy and rate objectives
• Handle and approve all purchase Requisition

TEAM, COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER FOCUS :

• Hire associate in coordination with the Human Resources Department
• Identify training needs and establish training program
• Supervise and conduct Department Orientation as well as knowledge training and working skills training.
• Liaise closely with other departments such as Food and Beverage , Engineering to ensure room conditions, amenities and housekeeping service are at the highest standard

Requirements:

1. Hotel school graduated
2. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
3. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
4. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Most tasks are performed in a team environment with other associate.
6. Understand premium products.
7. Able to overcome objections (esp. price).
8. Confident in managing the team.
9. Possess basic computational abilities.
10. Possess basic computer skills.
11. Extensive knowledge of the hotel and its facilities.
