Position Summary

This position is a techno functional role where a consultant is exposed to supply chain flow of various Industry verticals. A consultant works with various stakeholders from all business units, works in collaboration with Project Managers, Solution Architects. Execute implementation activities during specific phases of implementation. Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of experience as a Business or Technical Analyst. The ideal candidate should have experience in International Supply Chain and in working with diverse groups in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Gain expertise in GT Nexus Implementation Methodology
• Understand project charter and customers needs on the project
• Ability to manage customer expectations
• Timely escalation of issues that needs attention by management (both on Customer and GT Nexus side)
• Perform detailed gap analysis
• Consult with Solution Architects to define the data flow diagram and technical data flow documents
• Consult with Solution Architects around the integration approach with various customers and partners
• Responsible to define product enhancement
• Consult with Solution Architects on Solution design
• Accountable to write use case test plans
• Responsible to create data mapping specifications for specific integrations
• Write Integration Design specification and test plans
• Configure the application per the business requirement
• Accountable for string test of the application post configuration.
• Accountable for building and maintaining the system configuration workbook
• Actively participate in status meetings between customer and Implementation teams
• During solution rollout, provide inputs for deployment plan
• Organize and conduct customer training to drive adoption
• Ability to write SQL queries to investigate application or configuration issues
• Ability to understand data models and object relationships
• Accountable for solution stability and effective handover to support organization

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or MCA (Masters in Computer Application)
• 5+ years of qualified experience in implementation
• Experience in EDI messages (example: 850, 860, 861, 856, 527, 315, 323, 214) and clear understanding of XML messages/ files is a must
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries
• Supply chain certifications is a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. English language a must
• Ability to multi-task
• Comfortable working online
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues.
• Experience in the international transportation industry a plus
• Flexibility to work late/early hours depending on customer’s geographic location

Work Environment:

• Company issued laptop is provided
• Internet Service at home is a must; company will provide a VPN access
• Some travel is required
