Job Description

To shape the ideas that will go on to become ground-breaking products, you’ll need a strong understanding of physical laws and their mathematical representations. You’ll combine MATLAB and Simulink skills with a background in complex CAE and modelling – particularly with regard to vehicles and electro-mechanical systems. This should involve model design and development, as well as operation. Ideally, you’ll also be proficient in Dymola and real-time hardware, including dSpace products.

The ability to deliver high quality work consistently is crucial – particularly when under pressure or dealing with competing priorities. Strong documentation and communication skills are also vital. While not essential, skills in automotive development, VBA coding and legislative fuel economy testing will be an advantage, as will prior experience in the development of hybrid vehicle technologies.
