With your detailed understanding of the application of high voltage power electronics and electric machines in hybrid vehicles, you’re ready to make a significant impact on our newest programmes. It’s a unique opportunity to channel your knowledge of automotive design and development into vehicles that will be desired by drivers around the world. This challenging role will call on all your experience of requirements capture and technical component specification writing, and your thorough understanding of failure mode avoidance and robustness analysis.

It’s vital that you demonstrate strong planning and time management skills, honed through the delivery of projects to time and cost targets. Along with your ability to lead successful projects, it’s essential that you have specific working knowledge of electric machine principles, their power converters and control strategies, together with a detailed understanding of DC/DC converter technologies.
