Putting your quality engineering skills to the test on the world’s leading luxury vehicles, you’ll play a key role in helping us achieve the premium quality that is central to everything we do. You’ll join a dedicated team of Forward Model Quality Engineers - technical experts in applying the tools and techniques that help us assure the quality of our vehicles and meet the discerning expectations of our customers. That means you’ll be instrumental in helping to engineer the next generation of Jaguars and Land Rovers, which will grab attention on the world stage.

With your appreciation of all the things that can help us design quality into our vehicles, you’ll act as the ‘voice of the customer’ within our engineering teams. You’ll execute Failure Mode Avoidance processes, carry out reviews and ensure a data-driven approach to defining programmes and their content. Working closely with Product Development teams and suppliers, you’ll provide specialist advice on the creation of engineering standards and design rules, to ensure our products are designed to the highest international standards. And you’ll share your expertise by coaching others, making sure they gain your level of foresight in identifying potential problems and risks, and implementing robust solutions before they can occur.

Candidate Profile

The challenges of this role are such that individuals with only Manufacturing or Quality Inspection experience cannot be considered. We’re seeking experienced engineers with a working knowledge of product design tools and techniques, and an understanding of the full product development design process, from concept to launch. Ideally, you’ll have been involved in the creation of engineering standards and design process improvements. You’ll certainly demonstrate experience of technical project management and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. Naturally, you’ll have excellent communication skills and a relevant degree.
