Candidate Profile

In this core role within our Chassis Electronics engineering team, you’ll be responsible for developing sophisticated control systems for the world’s most desirable vehicles. Whether you’re working on the innovative systems found in our current lines, or helping to design systems for the next generation of Jaguar or Land Rover vehicles, you’ll make a vital contribution.

This driven and dedicated team are responsible for everything from breaking and stability, suspension, steering, ride and handling control, to adaptive (radar) cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, and enhanced active and passive safety systems. Roles within the team cover all aspects of systems design including control module hardware, system requirements capture, functional modelling, the development of control modes, sensors and actuators, and system validation and test.

This team is at the forefront of quality engineering, so to join them you’ll need a proven range of skills and experience in electronics hardware or software. This could include electrical systems integration, software based real-time control systems, automotive electrical systems, validation and verification, system simulation, FMEA / FTA / Hazard / Safety analysis, and both network (CAN) and system diagnostics development and test. A relevant degree level qualification is also essential.
