Corporate Social Responsibility Manager
Reporting to the President Director, the CSR Manager will lead and direct the Company’s CSRfunctions to achieve strategic, business goals, within time, cost, quality and safety parameters,
contribute to the corporate creed/vision, facilitate business improvements as well as
satisfy/stakeholders’ needs.
This is a fly in / fly out roster position, with work based at Dairi Regency, North Sumatera.
The key roles and accountabilities include:
- Formulate and implement the Company’s CSR vision and strategy.
- Initiate and develop the CSR Department’s strategic and annual business plans to determine key priorities consistent with the Company’s corporate goals.
- Develop and manage a formal Stakeholders Engagement Plant (SEP) and a Land Acquisition and Resettlement Acquisition Plan (LARAP).
- Monitor internal and external audits on compliance with CSR policy, procedures and data against international best practice.
- Keep abreast of the dynamics of community changes and adopt appropriate measures to keep potential conflict to acceptable levels and ensure that the operational integrity of the project remains undisturbed.
- Manage all public relations contact and media liaison on behalf of the Company, promoting the organization as a responsible corporate citizen.
- Work in close partnership with the Company’s Environment Manager to manage the community health aspects of an ongoing health impact assessment of the Company’s operations based on a comprehensive community and environmental baseline study.
- Manage all local, provincial and national Government reporting requirements to ensure that the Company meets all legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will possess the following key criteria:
- Degree at Bachelor Degree level or equivalent in an appriate management discipline, or equivalent training and experience with preferably a relevant Master Degree qualification.
- Minimum of 10-15 years experience, preferably with some in remote mining areas, in a broad range of CSR management activities.
- Financial skills to handle project and budget responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both English and Indonesian, to liaise with internal and external contacts at both national and international levels.
- Ability to relate to and communicate to individuals and groups from a wide variety of culture and socioeconomic backgrounds.
