Sales Representative – Exploration Drilling Equipment

The Role :
Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and is a leading global supplier of Exploration drilling equipment and tooling. Due to the product launch of an exciting new range of Exploration Drill Rigs, Sandvik seeks applications from suitably experienced Sales Representatives to join our Exploration team.
Based in the Jakarta and reporting directly to the Global Business Manager – Mid Markets (Exploration), the position will be responsible for Sales activities within Indonesia and South East Asia relating to Exploration’s Mid Market product offering. You will be required to travel throughout South East Asia and internationally as and when needed.
Your main responsibilities will include :
- Adhere to all Sandvik Mining’s (SM) OH&S and environmental policies and procedures
- Successfully achieve and out perform sales targets
- Develop effective working relationships within the Exploration Team
- Develop effective customer relations
- Analyse the market and accurately set budgets
- Provide accurate product forecasting
- Report all customer feedback and opportunities within the CRM system
- Provide formal customer quotations and successfully conclude to sale
Your profile:
- Excellent Sales skills
- Must be a self starter with a proven track record in sales
- Must have a strong desire for Success
- Expert knowledge of Exploration Drilling products and their applications
- Intricate understanding of the South East Asian Exploration Drilling Industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a relevant business or mining qualification, and or five year’s relevant experience in an OEM sales environment
