Actuarial Trainee Program

The candidate:

• University Fresh Graduate majoring in Mathematics
• Minimum GPA 2.75
• Highly motivated in developing career as an Actuary

Requirement:

• Strong in numbers & analytical skill
• Eager to learn & fast learner
• Highly & self motivated
• Goal Oriented and High achievers
• Computer Literate (MS Excel, MS Access, Programming skills)
• Preferably good mastery of English skills (both written & communication)
• Strong service-Excellence mind-set, highly responsible, reliable & cooperative attitude.

Program duration & employment status:

• Trainee - 6 months - Contract
• Actuarial Staff - 12 months - Contract
• Actuarial Analyst - Permanent

The Syllabus (Curriculum):

• Overview of Actuarial area - (1 week)
• Operation (Underwriting, New Business, Billing collection, Customer Service, Claims, Process Management, IT Application) - (2 weeks)
• Finance (Accounting, Treasury, Budgeting, Planning & Analysis, Process & Control, Tax) - (2 weeks)
• Investments - (1 week)
• Product Development Process - (1 weeks)
• Pricing Actuarial - (2 months)
• Valuation Actuarial - (2 months)
• Risk Management - (1 week)
