Communication Superintendent
Reporting to the CSR Manager, the Communication Superintendent will be responsible tocommunicate key messages to all stakeholders, including media, to establish a positive
acceptance of the Company through effective media relations and other communication
channels.
This is a fly in / fly out roster position, with work based at Dairi Regency, North Sumatera.
The key roles and accountabilities include:
- Assist with the development of communications policies and plans for external communication.
- Translate DPM strategy into practical action with measurable results, through creative use of a variety of communication channels and techniques.
- Prepare written materials for review of the management before communicated to the public.
- Communicate to all stakeholders, especially communities and all levels and types of media (journalists).
- Responsible for leading and directing the communication section.
- Support all managers and superintendents in their interactions and communications with government, communities and other stakeholders, especially media with its journalists.
- Develop relations with media and serve as Company media contact.
- Develop and maintain all information content of website, including regular updates.
- Suuport the CSR Manager in his interactions with media and communities.
- Represent DPM in communication networks.
The successful candidate will possess the following key criteria:
- Minimum education required is bachelor degree in communication or social science.
- 10-12 years of working experience in communication field.
- Ability to relate to and communicate individuals and groups from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to manage as part of a team.
- Ability to manage community grievance and conflict.
- Experience with the diplomatic management of local government leaders and systems.
