Currently we are seeking a Baker to join the Atwood Falcon, a Semi-Submersible Rig that will be operating in Australian waters.

Position Summary

• The Baker works under general supervision and follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks, whilst performing skilled baking in a kitchen environment. You will have immaculate safe food handling practices, exceptional general hygiene and safe chemical handling.

Essential Functions:

• Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
• Responsible for the preparation of all baked goods – breads, cakes, hot and cold deserts. Will liaise with the Head Cook in regards to the menu selection and minimisation of wastage.
• Operates, cleans and performs minor maintenance on baking machines and equipment.
• Requisitions adequate supplies and keeps records of products made and used.
• Assists in developing and testing recipes.

Ideally, we seek a fully qualified Pastry Chef with previous offshore experience catering for up to 200 people.

This position is a 28 days on 28 days off roster.

To be considered for this position you must be a Citizen/Permanent Resident of Australia, and be able to obtain a clear Federal & State Police Clearance Certificate.
