Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biology, Medical Technology, Clinical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related technical field. Employer will accept a 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, provide chemistry technical support to customers, sales and field service personnel via phone, letter, fax and other electronic systems. Provide assistance on correct use of company products to customers, sales and field service personnel. Leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skills, communicate aspects of system operation, assay performance, troubleshooting and maintenance to customers. Document customer (internal and external) interactions via customer relations management software (CRM). Complete ad hoc reports as requested. Troubleshoot, test and resolve chemistry application issues. Request back-up resource when unable to resolve issue. - Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biology, Medical Technology, Clinical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related technical field and 1 year experience in a biochemistry related occupation.
