The PDMS Designer will be responsible for the preparation of electrical design drawings for our company's ongoing and new projects. He/she will use design tools software such as PDMS and AutoCAD to accomplish assigned tasks with design quality within allotted schedule and budgeted hours.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Prepare electrical drawings based on project specifications and ensure that all work output are in line with project schedule
• Prepare and/or amend drawings in accordance with directed requirements/specifications
• Input of design drawings into PDMS for clash checking
• Model all bulk items including MDS support for report extraction, i.e. weight, MTO etc
• Extract MTO for all related electrical materials
• Model cable ladder and equipment using PDMS design and draft
• Model cable routing using Aveva Cable Routing module
• Provide support services and workable solution daily to PMT to achieve the desired quality, within schedule
• Check and resolve interference and clashes arising from model with inter disciplines

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma in Electrical Design Drafting
• 5 years design experience in offshore oil & gas industrial projects
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in 3D PDMS
• Must have practical knowledge of MDS administration, AutoCAD Suite and, Naviswork
