Offshore Panel Operator (onshore based)
- Position incumbent will have frontline responsibility for monitoring and controlling operations of remote offshore wellheads through the Distributed Control System located in the control room. He’ll work on a shift basis at the onshore plant control room and will be required to have deep technical knowledge of the equipment, an analytical approach and the ability to identify and act on real and potential problems. Incumbent will participate during the phases of commissioning, start-up and operations of these remote wellheads and thus would be expected to travel to construction sites and offshore fields.
- High School graduate and successful completion of the National Certificate (NC).
- A minimum of 8 years operator experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably offshore, exclusive of any study time taken to upgrade qualifications.
