Minimum Requirements
- You will have 5 years of clinical nursing experience, post-general nurse registration, 2 years of which must be post-Midwifery qualification. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- You will require a thorough current knowledge in all aspects of Ante-natal, Intra-partum and Post-partum procedures and protocols and have a demonstrated competency in these areas.
- In general, all work is performed on a 24/7 rotational assignment of 12 hour shifts consisting of days and nights.
- Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- You will assist in orientation/training of new nurses under the direction of the Supervisor.
- You will perform all normal deliveries, identifying and alerting any deviation from normal labor to the Obstetrician on call.
