Navigation Specialist

Job description
As a Navigations specialist you will deal with topics related to:- Channel design,
- Fast Time Simulations,
- Real Time Simulations,
- Specialist advice on Aids to Navigation issues.
Profile
- Solid experience with port development related nautical issues
- Demonstrated experience with ship simulation software, Fast Time Simulations
- Demonstrated experience with Real Time Simulations is considered a PRE
- Experience / Affinity with Channel Design (PIANC guidelines)
- Experience / Affinity with Aids to Navigation / VTMS is a PRE
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Very proficient in the English language (both verbally and in writing, including reporting)
- Ability to travel very regularly overseas for short periods
Organisation
The Business Group Maritime NL consists of a team of circa 75 engineers, advisors and project managers carrying out maritime projects in the Netherlands and overseas, notably in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
