At its establishment, the company named PT Bina Insurance Dharma Artha and in 1994 was changed to PT Dharmala Insurance Corporation. Since 1999, the company changed its name to PT Bina Dana Arta Insurance Corporation., Also known as ABDA Insurance or Insurance ABDA. The company currently located at Plaza ABDA, Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav. 59 Jakarta and has 32 branches and marketing. In addition the company will also expand the network throughout Indonesia.
ABDA Insurance in 2004, precisely on December 15, 2004 do the rights issue so that the number of shares to 275 914 080 shares with a total value of Rp. 89,848,944,000, -. At the end of 2008, total equity capital of Rp. 118 810 079 000, - which means in compliance with applicable laws and regulations which in 2014 required minimum capital of Rp 100 billion alone.
