Instrument Engineer
Job Description:
- Analyses existing or proposed Instrumentation and Control Systems for onshore plant and offshore production facilities. Prepares or reviews engineering design work connected with minor or major capital projects and expense items, for modification and alterations to existing systems or the installation of new equipment and systems, either by the Maintenance department, if the work is done in-house, or through external contractors. Studies and analyses complex or recurring problems relating to instruments and control system problems and recommends appropriate solutions. Maintains and updates instrument and control systems engineering drawings, standards, specifications, manuals and data books.
- Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in instrumentation and control system design, engineering, commissioning and maintenance. Experience with Foundation Fieldbus devise + fire&gas detectors and detection/protection systems or expert in Triconex systems, SIL assessment, HAZOP. Excellent written and spoken English. High computer literacy in both office and technical engineering applications.
