Description of Work:
- IB do a lot of roles / tasks important in the process of broadcasting. These tasks are as reporter, writer, translator, moderator, producer and broadcaster. Duties also include the supervisor and head of the team; to motivate and lead other staff.
- IB is a federal government employee who worked for the International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB). As an IB, employees receive various benefits from the government, among others: health insurance, vacation and sick leave, retirement, etc..
- IB must have a visa and a valid work permit to work in the United States (for those who are not U.S. citizens). In certain cases, VOA will sponsor J-1 visas to those who are not American citizens and elected / selected as an IB.
- IB to be fluent in Indonesia and to better understand the English language, both verbal and written. IB must have knowledge about government, politics, culture, and insight of the world, both in the United States and Indonesia. IB candidate must have knowledge of Communication Sciences graduate par.
