Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Product Analyst for our offices in India. The Products organization is ultimately responsible for the market success of the GT Nexus offering and acts as the "brain" of the company. The Products organization is responsible for product strategy, product management and product marketing activities.
The Product Analyst (PA) works with US-based product managers (PM) across a wide spectrum of responsibilities. The PA develops in-depth understanding of customer requirements and existing product functionality, develops customer-specific requirements documents that feed product development process, develops product-specific and customer-specific documentation, supports the development process with product acceptance testing, gathers competitive intelligence, and engages in many other related activities.
The PA is part of the implementation team for select strategic customer implementations and supports that team with his/her product knowledge. The PA is part of the US-based Products organization and works closely with that team. The PA also plans and executes his/her work independently in pursuit of agreed-upon objectives and deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree required, 1-2 yrs work experience preferred
- Able to speak and write English clearly and concisely
- Experience and interest in software/technology solutions
- Affinity to understand both business process and technical solutions and combine the two
- Able to communicate problems effectively, internally as well as externally to customers
- Able to manage multiple projects and keep them all moving
- Able to prioritize issues and present them clearly to management
- Able to prioritize and manage work independently without daily supervision
