The role involves
- Providing assistance in the development for fit-for-purpose engineering solutions for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves and tanks
- Contributing to stress analysis and fracture mechanics (which may form part of those solutions
- Contributing to the development, maintenance and compliance with the Group and Segment Engineering Technical Practices
- Providing technical input to risk assessments, Management of change reviews and project reviews
- In all activities, demonstrating strong health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance record with an understanding and commitment to safety and the environment
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Essential experience and job requirements
- Minimum 4 year experience in general static mechanical equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves and storage tanks
- Chartered/Professional Engineer preferred
- Specialist certification from NACE International or similar
- High level of oral and written communications skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Keen business awareness and perception
- Good team worker
- Initiative and leadership
